Enterprise Server Issue with journal-file

Hi,
I sometimes have a problem with the journal-file from my Enterprise-
Server.

When for any reason my Enterprise-Server crashs, I have to restart it.
I do this remotely with "ARD" (Apple Remote Desktop).
Restarting the Server, it doesn't find its database-files (when it has
crashed),
so I have to quit the server manually.

> 5/4/2008 12:30:51 AM ERROR: Cannot open web database: Adressen.ees

After next restart the server begins to work normal again,
but has lost the journal-files,
because the server had trashed it during first restart before.

Has anyone else watched such behavior?

(it can make a little bit nervous when the last changes and unsaved
work can be lost with the journal-file)

Martin

PS:
knowing this, I now help me with a little trick: before restarting the
server for the first time I make a copy of the journal-files...

certainly, I try to find the reason and I'm glad that this problem
will happen now only once a week or so and I'm trying to track down
one bug after the other in my (web-) procedures;
but some bugs I'm not able to locate, especially when they are
somewhere in the librarys or custom functions / statements which are
called from enetrprise
and some problems have certainly to do with the german OS (function-
separator - decimalc point)

using Pan 5.5
Enterprise Server (Webserver)
Mac OS 10.4.11
Intell MiniMac 2 GB Ram
