If it doesn't have a type/creator code, I don't 
think it's going to matter much what you tell the 
Finder. Panorama isn't going to open it, if it 
doesn't know what type it is. You need to restore 
the type/creator codes, and the platform 
converter is probably the simplest way to do that.
