I'll bet that at some point you had these files on a PC drive, perhaps a
USB thumbnail drive. That's a surefire way to cause this issue.
Fortunately it is easy to fix.

That is one way to go, you can also use the Platform Converter wizard
which I'll describe in a moment.

I don't think that is such a great idea. There may be all sorts of files
that are not Panorama files that could be affected by this. If you use
Get Info I think you should fix the files one at a time.

Another way to fix this is to open Panorama, then open the Platform
Converter wizard (in the Utilities submenu). Drag the problem files onto
the "Fix Type/Creator Codes" section of this wizard. You can do this one
at a time or drag a whole bunch of them at once.
