empty field

It doesn't work. I have a datebase withe 4180 records one of the
columns has a view information. But when I use the find/select
possiblity and ask to selact at first the empty fields as I did before
even if I use yuur suggestion nothing happens, all the records who
has a value are still there and the answer is: no records selected.
