Printing labels

My ISP had a mail server melt down on March 10th when the below was
sent, so it may never have arrived.

If you have ever had one of those little labels detach and grab on to
the hidden inside of your printer, I doubt you will ever again use a
partial sheet. I have and I don’t. Note that the Canon ink jets are
close to straight thru printers. Any printer that feeds from the
front and puts out the result in the front will have a 180 turn
inside and that can be a *real* problem. Also, the clearance for the
printing head in ink jet printers is *very* small. Does not take much
to encourage a stray label to detach and re-attach.

Best of luck to anyone that reuses partially used sticky sheets. When
I do a mailing list I usually end up with a partially used sheet. The
return address idea I have used. Also those unused labels I often use
to label other items, things. They can be cut to a smaller size for
labeling small items.

Thru the printer? Not my printer.

Best of Luck,

Elon Close

From the responses I gather that others re-print on self-stick
sheets of labels.

However, once a sheet has been partially used those left on labels
can stick to the printer in various places. And yes, it has happened
to me. So be sure that the sheets look “new” and not with anything
that might be loose. it only takes one stuck label to cause a *real*
printer problem.
