Printing problem with Brother Printer

Brother clearly has had a problem on OS X 10.5 and has yet to issue 
new drivers. We've had two recent threads on our forums about it.

Brother may deny it, but the very same problem with Brother printers 
is reported on the Apple forums, but with Excel. The Adobe forums 
have reports of the problem, again with Brother printers, but this 
time with Acrobat. Other forums also include reports of the Brother 
printer working for all applications except one - and oddly the one 
affected program seems to vary.

Yesterday a customer using a Brother MFC-845CW posted, "I contacted 
Brother and their Mac expert said we need a postscript printer and 
apparently this Brother machine can't do it. The Leopard drivers 
don't include it for this model printer."

It appears to be a problem overall with Brother drivers on Leopard 
and, in my opinion, requires Brother to resolve it.
