Server rejecting connection

Well, that is certainly a new one. The error message is clearly being
displayed by Panorama Server, but the text is definitely not generated
by Panorama. The operating system must be generating that error and
Panorama is simply reporting it.

Error 554 is not listed in my handy reference of Apple error messages.

I googled "Error 554" and discovered that this is a common SMTP error,
and the text of the message sounds consistent with this possibly being
an SMTP connection problem. The fact that the IP displayed is your
router's external IP is also suggestive. Is there a Panorama e-mail
channel enabled on the server? If so, you might check to make sure that
it is properly configured and works, or perhaps just turn it off.

Have you checked the Panorama Enterprise Server logs? It would be
interesting to see if there is an error logged that corresponds to
opening these files, and if so, what the error is.

Here's one possible theory -- perhaps you have the server configured to
send the administrator an e-mail when an error is logged. Some type of
error occurs when opening these particular databases, but sending the
e-mail fails and causes the error dialog to appear.

Alternately, the e-mail channel may be the original cause of the
problem. Perhaps some task has been programmed by the user to send
e-mails. When that fails, the alert appears, which causes subsequent
server requests to fail.
