Recover Deleted Database

Is there a way of recovering a deleted database after trash has been
emptied. Tech at Prosoft (Data Rescue) says they don't cover Panorama. Asks
me to send him a sample file (database) to see if there's a way.
1) If he's right, would any Pano 5.5 db help him?
2) Advice please.
