print, beach ball

Hi, Pano helpers:
   I have a new iMAC, running 10.5, loaded with PANO 5.0 from a disk.   
When I create a new database and try to print, all that I get is a  
spinning beach ball.  After FORCE QUIT I read the message "PANORAMA IS  
NOT RESPONDING."
   Previous databases retrieved from my bak up disk print without  
trouble.  The same thing happens with upgrade to Pano 5.5.
   Can someone help me on this ?  Tom,   Reno.
