Panorama/Enterprise 5.5.1 Prerelease

Panorama 5.5.0 was released late last year, and work has continued on
the next release, 5.5.1. This will also be the first "official" Panorama
Enterprise version -- we will be dropping the "preview" status from
Panorama Enterprise when 5.5.1 ships.

 ... which is going to be real soon. If you want to get a head start,
I'm making available a beta version here on the QNA list. You can
download it at the url below. This is very close to the final 5.5.1
version (though there will certainly be a few minor tweaks). The build
number on this release is 74509.

Here are some of the highlights:

* Massively updated and expanded Panorama Enterprise documentation. Lots
of great new material, if you are an Enterprise user you might want to
curl up with this over the three day weekend :) (Thanks to Robert Ameeti
for submitting detailed comments and corrections on the previous version
of this book.)

* On Leopard, a few users (handful) reported “spinning rainbow” freezes
when printing some forms. This is apparently an Apple bug, but we were
able to work around it. Also there is a new "Reset Page Setup" command
in the Setup menu.

* Several Generic Field and vCard fixes -- if you had problems with this
feature in the past you might want to try it again.

* A number of new server configuration options.

* Server support for Google Analytics.

* Support for phone dialing via Dialectic.

Beyond this there are dozens of minor new features and bug fixes -- over
100 logged changes in all. It's well worth checking out the detailed
change list.

Of course this release doesn't add every outstanding feature and fix
every reported bug. If you favorite hasn't make the cut yet please
accept my apologies.
