Thank you for the encouragement to look further. I am not sure I'll  
live long enough to go thru what it has taken to find this one.

I use Spell Catcher in an interactive mode. It is very good, almost  
too good. It turns out that the replace stdQ with SQs as one types  
was on. I happened to find it when I was checking International  
different languages and Spell Catcher was not on. Standard Quotes  
worked and when I turned SC back on it was back to the SQs. When the  
replace SQs was unchecked in SC all was back to normal.

All works ok now. The WPSO SQ toggle works ok and stays in that  
process, does not propagate into the Procedure writing. I've been  
doing some code writing recently, but had not noticed the SQs problem  
until a day or so ago. It was driving me up a wall.

I know You and all on this list have much on the plate to do. I  
really appreciate the responsiveness of all of you. Again a big Thanks.
