Uploading to Server stops if the Escape key is hit

More than once, while uploading a new version to the server, I've 
accidentally hit the Escape key when wanting to press the F1 Dim 
Screen Brightness key. This then halts the upload and kills the 
upload to the server. It also leaves the user with just the Panorama 
menu.

After getting out of that predicament, the Admin is forced to Delete 
the file from the Server, Force the local file to Single User, 
reupload the file back to the server, then manually download it to 
each client computer.

Could we please have some recovery from accidentally hitting the 
Escape key so all the wasted time can be eliminated?
