I've only gotten that message when I've had to delete the server's 
copy and re-upload after a failed upload. All of the users then need 
to manually re-download the file again.

Force Synch should not be able to fix this. Someone smarter than me 
should be correcting me soon if I am wrong on this. ;-)

I'd do the manual redownload of the file's copy of that file again. 
All will be good as it can be.
