That would require more details for analysis, but simply copying and 
pasting between databases is definitely not an issue. There are more 
efficient ways to the same end though, such as FormulaFill with a 
Lookup equation.

If you haven't saved use Revert to Saved or close the file without 
saving.  If you saved, the only recourse is your last back up copy.
