Pan Preference files

The only Panorama file I find in my Library/Preferences folder (both
the main system Library as well as the user Library folder) is
a .plist file which is created when you either install Panorama or
run it the first time (never checked myself when it is created). I
have no idea where your plethora of .pan files came from but they
seem to be standard Panorama data files with that extension and not
preference files. I would take the advice of the guy at Apple and
temporarily rename them or just put them all in a separate folder and
install Panorama 5.5 clean. Being the curious type myself, I would
try double-clicking a couple of them to see if they open in Panorama
and what they really might be.
