Crashing/Nonresponding

First, I have never encountered this behavior in any of my databases
so from here on it is strictly a guess on my part. With that said, we
can go on and pretty much rule out a corrupted form object since the
problem exists in the datasheet. The next thing I would do on a
backup copy is to save the database as a text file and then import it
back into the database replacing the data that is there. This will
sometimes fix a corrupted record or cell if that is the problem. If
this does not work and the problem even exists on copies of the file
made using Save A Copy As... from Panorama, I would next try deleting
all the data (again on a backup copy) and leave only one blank record
and test again. If there is still a problem it would seem to be in
the file structure itself and may require a rebuild of the entire
file with a new file using the Copy Form/Paste Form method I
mentioned in my first post. I would then recreate all the fields and
test everything before importing the old data. Last, I would import
the original data and test one final time. Beyond this, I would be at
a loss as to what else to try should there still be a problem. If you
want, you can send me the file off list and I could see if I can
resuscitate it.
