Panorama 5.5 has resolved a lot of this, but it still happens
occasionally. As mentioned, it doesn't happen consistently so is very
hard to track down.

When it does happen, you don't have to go to another form and back any
more. Panorama 5.5 has a new "Refresh Window" command in the Edit menu,
or you can just press Command-E.
