Newer Forms and Page Setup problem in os x

In Leopard with pan5.5:
If I create a new form and try to set the "Page Setup" settings, those  
settings will not save, or at least will not be there when I reopen  
the file.  When I try to preview or print the form I get the  
beachball.  Older forms, which had page settings in the past will  
print fine and I can even change those Page Setup settings.  This also  
occurs when I try to print the data sheet, if I had never printed it  
in the past (pre-leopard and pan5.5).

There was a thread regarding this in December, but I never saw any  
resolution to the problem.

Anyone have any ideas?
