Unfortunately it's not quite as simple as that. I have to move the
server from a dedicated machine in my office to an official university
machine in another building which (I'm quite sure) already has its own
bonjour name. Does that mean my other proposal is the way to go?
Setting up a domain name can't be done locally, can it? Doesn't it
have to go through a DNS registry?
