I don't think anyone has pointed out that if you check the "Show Version
Numbers" option in the Version menu the wizard will always display the
version when a particular feature was introduced (in the upper left hand
corner, just below the search box).

If a statement or function is "black on gray" then it is a custom
statement or function, and is definitely not available in Panorama 4.0.
But the statement or function uses a "coloured layout" it is a native
feature, and you'll have to check the version information.

Well, that depends. For example if you are transitioning from 5.0 to 5.5
and wanted to learn the new functions you might want to see a list of
just what was new. In fact that is what I had in mind when setting up
this menu.

As David Thompson pointed out it is easy to change the wizard to work
the other way, and I can see how this might be useful. Perhaps I'll make
that option available as well, though that might make the menu
confusing.
